    AVP Trade Room Application Support

    This position is mainly to support the FX and Money Market trading desk in accordance with IT policy and procedure.

    In addition to support, this position is responsible for carrying out the efforts required for implementing projects including in various capacities which include PM, IT Lead.

     

    Responsibilities:

    50% Trading floor support (FX and Money Market) for following application FXALL, WSS, Option Analyzer, BrokerTec, RET, APAMA, and Deal Hub.

     

    20% Participates in the design and implementation process for new products/projects, and evaluate impacts on the operation, informing senior executive of activities. May act in various capacities for projects, including PM, IT lead and resource, either fulfilling one role or multiple roles for a project.

     

    15% Advise, mentor and assist team members in the specialized technical area

     

    10% Provide in-depth and strong technical specialty and knowledge to the project team. Analyze User requests and assist Superiors with project design. Develop structures, forms and outputs based on business and/or application requirements.

     

    5% Fulfill administrative duties as defined in the CBD Procedures Manual

     

     

    Requirements:

    Four or more years experience in trading floor support. Light weight technical skills to support applications, development and design such as HTML, Java, MS SQL Server, etc. Good (written and oral) communication skills. Fluent in the use of software development tools and Utilities.

    Team player. Be able to work alone and to assist the associates to analyze the business requirement in the detail. Be able to carry out the development effort with the development team, in accordance to the spec as IT Lead for assigned projects in all sizes. Need to be able to do multitasking to handle complex projects with efficiency. Other areas of technical knowledge are also needed in order to carry the design of complex and multi-tiers system.

     

    College Degree or a combination of High school diploma and equivalent experience in IT courses as required

    AVP IT Audit (Capital Markets)

    Job Description

    Senior IT Auditors are responsible for planning, performing and reporting the results of application, infrastructure product-line and functional audits using the Audit Department's risk based approach. Work is performed under the direction of IT Audit Managers and can include individual or multiple audit assignments.

    Comprehensive Risk Assessment and Engagement Planning. This entails obtaining an in-depth understanding of each business and/or function being audited, identification and assessment of risk (including understanding the manner in which such risks are controlled and the audit approach required to ensure controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively) and preparing documentation (work papers, planning memorandum and audit program) that reflects the aforementioned information and assessments.

    Executing Audit Work. This encompasses execution of the planned approach of the audit in a team-based environment, interacting closely with various levels of staff and management throughout the Bank. Integrated and application audit work encompasses a review of processes and procedures performed by various departments within the Bank to control and/or support the IT environment. This includes both general and application IT control reviews and typically involves reviews of system architecture and configuration settings, application functionality, system development approaches, underlying systems administration and support processes and data analytics techniques. Responsibilities also include performing certain IT infrastructure audits.

    Developing, Presenting and Finalizing Audit Reports. This process entails initial drafting of the report, discussion with management to ensure factual accuracy and concurrence and coordination with Management to obtain written responses to Audit's recommendations.

    In addition to his/her primary responsibilities, each Senior IT Auditor is expected  is expected to assume additional responsibilities upon progression in the Department.

    VP - Bank Regulatory

    Exciting opportunity to join a Regulatory Capital Reporting team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising the preparation of regulatory capital information for internal management reports and regulatory filings, including quarterly Federal Reserve Board filings for both Basel I and Basel II (FR Y-9C, Schedule HC-R, and FFIEC 101).     Fixed Assets Accounting Manager

    Job Description

    The individual will be responsible for all fixed asset and lease accounting matters in the Financial Control team, including financial reporting under IFRS, and GAAP for US and Group reporting purposes, regulatory reporting to the SEC and other regulatory bodies in addition to reporting to the business units and senior management committees the financial performance of the business units and the company.

    Role and Responsibilities

    Assist with financial reporting related to fixed assets, capital and operating leases of the company for IFRS, and GAAP reporting purposes, including:

    • participating in the month end close process
    • closing the books for the month
    • analyzing results and ensuring accuracy
    • review month end financial statements and report on variance fluctuations
    • prepare various head office templates for external reporting at quarter and year end
    • reconcile balance sheet and p&l accounts
    • prepare and analyze various lease and fixed asset transactions
    • assist with internal, SOX and external audit inquiries and prepare necessary workpapers as required.

    Work closely with Real Estate Managers and lease manager.
    Develop and prepare Fixed Asset and Lease reporting package for CFO.  
    Assist and initiate process and system changes including as a result of the following: 

    • new businesses, products or activities
    • new reporting/accounting requirements (including the introduction of international standards for Group purposes)
    • new systems in Finance and the wider organization

    Get involved with various projects as required and support and prepare ad-hoc analysis for CFO and firm business units as requested

    Product Control (Credit Valuation Adjustment Trading)

    Job Description

    This function captures the impact of marking a portfolio to the appropriate credit spread reflecting the fact that all swap counterparties are not LIBOR based borrowers. Responsibilities include review of changes in portfolio’s exposures, independent review of trader pricing, and review of the effectiveness of hedging the embedded credit and market risk. Hedging instruments include cash products, credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives and equities.

    This position requires significant interaction with the trading desk due to the dynamic nature of the portfolio, complexity of the price verification process, and need to develop better tools to analyze P&L fluctuations. A key determinant of success will be the ability of the candidate to enhance the control structure and process flows over this developing process.

    • Prepare and undertake analytical review of the daily profit and loss.
    • Undertake independent valuation review to ensure complex instruments and strategies marked to market in an appropriate manner.

    The Compliance & Tax Administrator is responsible for controlling the daily, monthly, and quarterly workflow as it pertains to compliance for the firms clients.

    Role and Responsibilities
