AVP Trade Room Application Support
Friday, September 9, 2011 at 3:05 PM This position is mainly to support the FX and Money Market trading desk in accordance with IT policy and procedure.
In addition to support, this position is responsible for carrying out the efforts required for implementing projects including in various capacities which include PM, IT Lead.
Responsibilities:
50% Trading floor support (FX and Money Market) for following application FXALL, WSS, Option Analyzer, BrokerTec, RET, APAMA, and Deal Hub.
20% Participates in the design and implementation process for new products/projects, and evaluate impacts on the operation, informing senior executive of activities. May act in various capacities for projects, including PM, IT lead and resource, either fulfilling one role or multiple roles for a project.
15% Advise, mentor and assist team members in the specialized technical area
10% Provide in-depth and strong technical specialty and knowledge to the project team. Analyze User requests and assist Superiors with project design. Develop structures, forms and outputs based on business and/or application requirements.
5% Fulfill administrative duties as defined in the CBD Procedures Manual
Requirements:
Four or more years experience in trading floor support. Light weight technical skills to support applications, development and design such as HTML, Java, MS SQL Server, etc. Good (written and oral) communication skills. Fluent in the use of software development tools and Utilities.
Team player. Be able to work alone and to assist the associates to analyze the business requirement in the detail. Be able to carry out the development effort with the development team, in accordance to the spec as IT Lead for assigned projects in all sizes. Need to be able to do multitasking to handle complex projects with efficiency. Other areas of technical knowledge are also needed in order to carry the design of complex and multi-tiers system.
College Degree or a combination of High school diploma and equivalent experience in IT courses as required
